It all started simply enough...

I went to a HomeTrader information session in early 2005 as nothing more than a curious individual of modest monetary means, with an average job and average expectations of life, having seen an advert about them on the telly.  I was naturally sceptical, but my scepticism lasted about a minute-and-a-half, or at least until the chap at the front started to speak anyhow.  Wow!  It was a strange experience … my very own “Eureka” moment.  On the wall I saw lots of lines and lots of patterns being talked about enthusiastically.  I don't for a minute consider myself as remotely mathematically-minded in such things but I suddenly saw possibilities ... many, many possibilities.  And now, because of what HomeTrader has subsequently taught me about myself - not only about my own personal trading rationale but, more importantly, about my appetite for risk - I, just like every other HomeTrader member, now consider myself to be at the very forefront of the share trading industry … not just in Australia, but of anywhere in the world.  Pretty cool, huh?

I firmly believe that, because of the financial prudence and trading discipline that HomeTrader instils in each and every one of its members from day one, anybody trading shares the HomeTrader way is bound for financial success much sooner rather than later.

And the beauty of it is that the HomeTrader organisation will not rest on it laurels – it simply will not allow itself to … it is owned by traders and run by traders for the benefit of traders.  With each tweak of each trading system, and with each new trading discovery, every HomeTrader member in turn gets ever closer to the “holy grail” of breaking the 9 to 5 work-a-day shackles and forging one's own financial destiny.

Despite what people say, trading for a living is NOT an elusive goal.  On the contrary, it is real.  I'm certainly nothing special, but I did it.  And if I can, anybody can.

I retired from work 2 years ago now, 3 years after joining HomeTrader.  I am finally following my dreams.  Today I heard from my real estate agent that the next chapter in my life will soon begin ... in a 200 year old former cobblers shop, overlooking a 500 year old church and square in a quaint, medieval French provincial market town.

I am 36 years old.
